I actually ran across a similar quote to the title the other day - to err is human, but to really foul up requires the root password.
I got a new computer for my birthday. I am still trying to get used to it. I went from 15" to 24" screen, and this computer runs at least four times as fast as the old. Since I multi-task with lots of windows and programs for my job, the old one just wasn't cutting it anymore, and the alternate option of having my computer and our laptop on my desk, while it would work, wasn't really going to be practical. I love it. It's not quite all configured the way I want it to be, but it's getting there.
School starts Tuesday. I have a few more classes to set up before I'm ready to go. Today will be another long work day.
We went to the State Fair Saturday with my parents. It was fun. Natali seemed to enjoy it, although she was a little perplexed by seeing large cows live.
The doctor thinks this baby will be another big one, so I'm really hoping I go a little early. Less than four weeks to go to the due date!
Natali is getting smarter every day. It's still a struggle to get her to stay in bed at naptime and bedtime, and it's still a struggle to get her to eat new foods (or even foods she's eaten before but hasn't for a few days). But she's really easy-going otherwise. I'm still in the process of trying to find our part-time baby-sitter for her for this year. It's more challenging than I thought to find someone who's willing to take what I'm willing to pay and speaks German.
She occasionally gets up in the middle of the night, usually when she's either wet or has to go to the bathroom. She must have gotten up last night without us knowing somehow, though, which is weird; I usually hear her as she gets off the bed. I do remember hearing the rustle of her diaper, but it sounded like she was just moving around. This morning, though, her door was wide open (we usually close it most of the way) and her pillow was in the bathroom - but she was asleep on her bed. So I'm not really going to complain about that.
