Deer Carving

Deer Carving
Originally uploaded by NVJ

Hello all,

We spent last weekend with Natali relaxing (read: running) around Jay Cooke State Park. We spent a lot of time hiking between 6 and 9 miles on Saturday. Towards the end of the first hike we walked up on to some of the shale rocks to get a better view of the rivers. There were many name etchings, some dating back to the late 1800's, and carvings such as this.
Over the next few days I'll be adding photos to my Flickr page (http://www.flickr.com/photos/natej), keep an eye out. If you visit now you'll see some photos of satellites and stars I took Saturday night.
